Dan Ott is a financial planner and co-founder of Unified Wealth Advisors, a Sonoma County, California based Wealth Management firm. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Sonoma State University in 1995 and went straight to work honing his financial planning skills with Waddell & Reed, Inc., a national financial planning and investment firm. Eight years later, in 2003, Dan co-founded Unified Wealth Advisors and quickly developed a name for himself helping trustees across the country with financial, investment, tax, estate and insurance planning. In 2008, Dan shifted his focus away from serving clients at the national level and began working exclusively with Sonoma County residents and surrounding communities.

Dan holds his FINRA series 6, 7, 24, 63 & 66 licenses through LPL Financial and Strategic Wealth Advisors Group, as well as his CA Annuity, Life, Health and Long-Term Care licenses.

Dan calls Sonoma County home, a place he has lived for close to 30 years. He is married to his wife, Kristen and has two beautiful daughters Emily and Danielle. If he is not watching his daughters compete on the soccer field, he is likely spending time with those closest to him. He enjoys working with and training German Shepherd dogs and volunteering his free time to the Bay Area German Shepherd Rescue. When it comes to having fun, Dan is up for just about anything, so long as it involves his family and friends.
